Hi!

I really need advice from all of you, my partner is Japanese, and we are in a relationship since 6 years ago (5,5 years long distance since he moved back to Japan). I want to get married in the next two years but he always says he's not ready (even when I asked 2 years ago). He is kind of a shy Japanese man, not so close with the family, and always anxious about the future. Kindly please advice me whether I continue or shall I take a step back. So nearly all of your time together has been long distance? That doesn't sound like a very satisfying relationship. Are you long distance at the moment?

Out of 6 years, 5.5 have been long distance? I suggest taking a step back. He's already told you that he's not ready to move forward with you.
