I got myself an Ipod touch a couple of months ago (because I don't want to spend money on a monthly base on an Iphone), and started to get addicted to the applications on it... It's too bad that I am not able to download from Itunes stores other than the Japanese one, so certain applications are unable to get for me.

How many applications do you have, what are your favorite, the most expensive/ cheapest, stupidest applications?

I have about 40 applications, and my favorites are:
Angry Birds
Rushhour
Touchnumbers
Expensebook
Evernote
Kotoba!
Flashcardsplus
Adobe Ideas
and Sandstorm

I bought the HD game N.O.V.A but after having played Sandstorm, its a pretty crapy game and a waste of my money. Most of the applications that I have are free, but the once that I payed for are on average about 200 \ each.

If you are studying Japanese I really recommend Kotoba! which also has kanji lists, and jlpt resources.

I have a lot of apps, but all are free.

For studying I have:
Kotoba!
HJ Lite (Human Japanese)
KanaCard Free
AccelaStudy Japanese (Essentials version)
Kanji Study (Lite version, though I might buy that one)

For cooking:
Betty Crocker Cookbook
SparkRecipies
BigOven
Cook's (though you can't do much without signing up for the site which costs)
AllRecipies
Sushipedia
Hello Vino
Grocery iQ (For making shopping lists)

Misc:
PayPal
ebay
Fly Delta
NPR News
BBC News
PBS News Hour
IMDB (Internet Movie Database)
White & Yellow Pages
Skype (Now has video! :-) )
Netflix (Will this work in Japan?)
Google Earth
WebMD
NASA
Adobe Ideas
Kindle
PS Express
Units (Unit converter)
SmugMug Uploader

Games:
Flood-It!
X Invasion 2
Solitaire
Sushi Cat
Paper Pilot
Tap Town (Gets old after a while)
Wolf3dlite (Might buy this one)
Capcom Game (Street Fighter II, 1942, Ghouls'N Ghosts, Commando, Street Fighter II Special Ed, Ghosts'N Goblins) - I pretty much just play Street Fighter II though

Yeah, I'm glad that skype has video as well now.

Adobe ideas is a great program as well, I downloaded it for my Ipad as well and especially on a bigger screen it is great.

I just bought the street fighter IV game the other day, wich is pretty addicting lol

Latest application is : Binaural Beats.

If you want to concentrate more, got a headache, or want to be more creative... you can use this free application.
