Hello everyone!
My name is Wally and I'm originally from Poland but I am US citizen and I have been living in USA for 14 years now. I have also lived in Japan in 97-98 while serving with US Marines.
I have met wonderfull Japanesse girl who's name is Junko Nakajima, she is now 27 and she is from Nara. The problem is that we had long distance realtionship for 1.5 years and eventually we lost contact, which is my fault I admit
This is the reason why I need your help. I just can't forget about her...I know she would be mad at me for displaying her name on the net but I have not other way to find her.
Can anyone help me find my lover? Any help would be appreciated!
Please write me an e-mail if you are from Nara and know how to contact Junko!
Thanks!
Wally

id say for up to a year.

people move on and stuff happens. I have not seen my ex gf for over 2 years now and we are planning on meeting for 2 weeks here soon. Im not sure whats going to happen and what im going to tell my gf now. but when we seperated we both knew that we would not try for a long distance.

other then that i will probably move this thread.. just have to re read it to figure out where

Hi Carlson,

Thanks for reply. Where do you think I should move this threat to make it more effective? Is there a lost person or friend forum where people can help me find my ex-girlfriend?

Anyone from Nara, Osaka? Need your help!

Hello everyone!
I'm looking for my girlfriend, well..the ex-g/f. She is wonderfull Japanesse girl who's name is Junko Nakajima, she is now 27 and she is from Nara. I have met her while I lived in Japan in 97-98 while serving with US Marines.

The problem is that we had long distance realtionship for 1.5 years and eventually we lost contact, which is my fault I admit

Perheaps somebody could be so nice and look up her phone number or new address in the local Phone book (Nara-Osaka). I have no access to those.
Maybe someone knows her, and could discreetlly tell her that I'm looking for her? I would be soooooo greatfull!

Thanks!

well i highly doubt that any one knows the name. and if they did its probalby the wrong person. i myself dont know how to access the nara/osaka phone books online but im sure there is away. id say you find out how and then call each number. i dont know to many people who would call for you on there quarter. for me it wouldnt be the money just the time invested.

Sounds like a bit of a mission, but good luck.

A girl from Osaka joined JREF a few weeks back. Her username is 'Stupid' - I don't know if she might be able to offer a suggestion. Maybe with some more research you might be able to find a way to access phone numbers.

Thanks Rich,
Phone books in Japan are usually in Japanesse, and those in English like on www.helloosaka.com feature white pages for Osaka, but I think its never worked, because it says that "server experiences high emount of trafic, a should have tried later".

But regardless, what day of the week or the time I check it is unaccesable...I think its fake, it never worked. But that's how they advertise the site.

The only chance is to find someone who can pick up the phone book in Osaka, or Nara and check for me.

Carlson and Rich,
If you asked me to pick up Chicago and suburbs phone book and look somebody up, I would do it for the sake of love....You would made me happy and who knows maybe Junko as well.

I don't ask you to spend money, all I ask for is for someone to pick up the free phone book when they are at the post office and copy all phone numbers for all Junko Nakajima.

How many Junko Nakajimas can live in Osaka or Nara? 10 or 30? Believe me I looked on the net but its not there, white pages (personal phone numbers) are usually not availabe on internet listings..only yellow pages.

Please help me!

well if you would of told me last week i just got back from osaka 2 days ago. i will ask my gf if she knows how to

Carlson,
It would be great if you or your g/f did that for me!!! I hope you can find her numbers for me

I think all phone books in Japan are in Japanesse, and most of sites too, so I don't know how to browse them.

Thanks!

I honestly don't think it would be wise to help Wally on his mission.

Wally said himself in a past thread (I can supply the link if anyone wants me to) that after he called her phone number, Junko changed it IMMEDIATELY. What does that mean?

It means that she doesn't want anything to do with him.

There are other reasons why I feel the way I do, but this is the most important one.

I must say I have to agree with Mikawa Ossan here.. The most important reason being we do not know anything the nature of the relationship Wally and Junko had, and how it ended. No offence, but we might be supporting a wrong cause without even realising it.

Sure I would love to see a Densha Otoko type drama developing here, and I know personally how hard it can be to forget someone you deeply love.. But I have also learned that it is also important to distill important lessons out of past experiences and try to look forward and move on.

I wish you lots of strength Wally.

Actually, the reason we shouldn't help Wally in this mission is that we DO know the specifics of his relationship, and his adulterous longing for his long-lost lover, despite her lamentable lack of affection, and his lovely wife (sorry for the alliteration). Please do a search of his other threads and you will soon understand what I'm talking about.

As a side note, I'm not sure why this thread showed up under "new posts" this morning, as the most recent reply at that point was from the beginning of last month...

Ow!

I am terribly sorry, I hadn't read the original thread.. ツ(ナ?ツセツ)

At least we know from Wally's side, and that's enough for me!

Somebody probably voted on the poll. That counts, too.

EDIT: Now that you mention it, I do remember this thread from last month. I hadn't made the connection or looked at the last post date when I posted, but I couldn't let it go, just in case.

Actually, looking at the dates of his threads, this seems to be his first thread here. If you go and read the other threads he's created, more specifically this one and this one, but also this one, you'll notice that Wally had withheld a lot of information about his relationship(s). Reading this thread by itself gives the impression of a couple who fell out of touch when one went back home, but there is more to this story than he originally let on.
