Anybody know of Full Metal Alchemist?

Yes! I loved that Winry and Scar scene! Ed was so protective of her! Awww, I melted. Ed would make such an adorable boyfriend. Lucky Winry! I don't like a lot of female characters in shounen mangas, they all seem useless and weak and annoying, but I like Winry and Hawkeye! Maybe it's because the mangaka is a woman herself? :?

I love Havoc too, but but... but.. .BUT!!! Arghhh >< What'll happen to him? I'm not too sure if I want him back in the danger again! But I don't want him as an invalid either!
 
i bet all of you know there is a movie now..??
anyone read the manga? it's pretty cool.. the story line is bit different at the back.. try reading it.. it's nice!! kakkoi!!
 
Yep! 👍 The movie comes out in the US in . . . I don't know. 😌 But when it comes out, I'm watching it. As soon as I see everything after episode 48. That's as far as I've seen.

The manga is absolutely amazing. I've seen the raw version of chapter 55 and it looks so awesome. 😍 How far have you read?

Well, the posts that are basically blank except for a smilie or two and some text at the beginning and end are censored spoilers. Those are about mid way down the second page and onto the third but they're all for the recent manga chapters.

By the way, how far have you seen into the series? Past episode 25 (chapter 15/16)? That's the highest spoiler there is.
 
At the risk of spoiling....the series has a simple ending. But for closure, you might want to grab a copy of the movie. The theme of FMA, seems to be the realization of how blessed we are at this moment. I mean, the two brothers did a mistake and had to have 50 eps and a movie (and a whole lot of carnage) just to get back to where they were.😌
 
It's not that I thought it was a bad show, but FMA just didn't hold my interest long enough for me to really enjoy it. And it is not that I don't like anything that has nothing to do with Mecha. Hell, I liked Project: A-ko and I think Chrono Crusade is pretty good.
 
I'm still watching the anime, started last night.Now I saw until ep 17...have to go work in an hour...*sigh* (-.-)=3
 
FMA finished downloading about a month ago and i just have got around to starting to watch it. I d/l series as a hole.. lol.. I got Naruto to ep 100 waiting to be watch.. i just finished bleach up to latest.. so ill let you know how i think about FMA... from what i hear its good.
 
I just finished watching the anime today and I'm in the process of finishing the movie. 😍 (Episode 50 spoiler) When Envy showed Ed his true form, I expected him to look more like Ed rather than looking like Hoenheim. (end spoiler) Also I just read chapter 56 of the manga off of the MSN group's site. Click for Manga. 56 is in the Pictures section, both in raw and translated formats. 👍
 
FMA is my favorite anime & manga....I've seen the whole series and movie and I am steadily reading the manga to the most current. I would like to see more of "Bluebird's Illusion" though.......
 
😌 I actually don't know that much about Bluebird's Illusion. Could you explain it to me. I know some stuff, but that's all from conversations and I've always just been "what?" :p (Oh, and welcome Kye-Jin Jiro 🙂 )

Now, I've seen all the series and I'm reading the manga!!! And also my friend just download the movie and I'm going to her house to watch it with her!!! i'm soooo happy!!!:D :D :D :D :D :D
 
Fullmetal Alchemist PREMIUM COLLECTION
According toJbooks, TheFullmetal Alchemist Premium Collection will be released March 29 for on 3990 yen. The DVD will include a movie originally screened at Universal Studios Japan (as part of anFMA themed ride), and three short OAVs. One of the three shorts will be a Gokurousama (Good Work Party) that will include all the characters from Conqueror of Shambala inchibi form. Details are not currently available for the other two OAVs.

Kala - Oh yay! The movie was amazing though the ending was both surprising and disappointing at the same time. 😌 However, the manga is absolutely amazing. Think the anime except deeper, wierder, and completely different theories about certain characters (certain other characters don't even exist in mangaverse, such as Sloth and kid!Wrath and some other minor characters). I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it.

The ending definately was depressing. However, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. There are parts of the anime that are sadder (is that even a word?) and the manga has parts that are even weirder. It helps ease the pain when you see the movie, but I don't know when it's comming out in the US. YouTube has at least one subbed version, but it's poor quality and the movie is worth at least renting. Adult Swim isn't airing it any time soon, but that's no surprise. :eek: I don't think they're done translating (oficially at least), especially since they only recently put out the ninth DVD (eps 33-36). http://everything.zstore.com/fullmetalalchemist.cfm :eek:

I ordered the entire series from the Japan on dvd i have yet to sit down and watch all of it but what ive seen I really like a mate of mine is getting the movie for me
 
Oh lucky you Mifune! I wish I had the money to buy the DVDs but they're so expensive in the US and each DVD has about four episodes or less. :eek:

KoziRocks - Like I said, YouTube has a segmented fansub of it. It's rather low quality but it'll tide you over until the official version comes out in who knows how long from now. :eek:

Oh wow. I just read chapter 57. ☝ That cliffhanger made me speachless. 😲 Nothing like what I had expected from that character but I guess it makes sense if one thinks about it.
 
Bad thing about FMA is that other characters from the manga were left out. But otherwise, it's cool.
