Kosei Inoue is an Olympic gold medalist. He's a tough SOB. I hate the term "Judo Player". Judo is not a game. You don't "play" Judo, you compete in it. No one is ever called a Boxing player or a Karate Player.
The proper term is Judoka or Judo Competitor.
I'm an equivalent of a green belt in Aikido, which also does not involve any punching or kicking but is an effective martial art, if anyone has seen any Steven Seagal movies.
But my main focus now is on Yi Chuan and Chi Kung.
I've been studying the "soft" Chinese art of Yi Chuan since 1987. This site will explain what the art is about :
Yi Chuan Kung Fu - Interview with Master Cheuk Fung
During the 1940s, Grandmaster Wang mentioned in the site above was challenged by and defeated a high-ranking Japanese Judoka named Kenji Sawai. Sawai bowed down and became master Wang's student, and later founded his own version of Yi Chuan in Japan called "Tai Ki Ken."
One of the greatest Tai Ki Ken masters in Japan today is master Kozo Nishino who, at the age of 70 can, being surrounded by half a dozen men, send them all flying back by generating Chi energy with is arms without even touching them:

Fake? Note the second guy from the left: his hair is standing up as if some great wind or force is being directed at his face. If the guy was falling back of his own accord, there is no way his hair would stand up like that. Chi energy is electromagnetic in nature and can have some of the same properties as static electricity (e.g., to make hair stand up)
I'm at a point where I can generate energy that can be felt by another person without any contact. Granted, very few people in the world could ever become as proficient as sensei Nishino, but if one were able to, he would be able to defend against any attacker of any size or any skill level.
I welcome any comments or questions.
