And today's weather where you are is..........

Snow.webp The last 2 days here in Portland , we got a little over 1 foot of snow. Starting tomorrow and lasting into Monday we are going to have a blizzard with winds 50 miles per hour and wind chills below zero and maybe 2 more feet of snow. Now the weatherman says in 4 or 5 days , we may get another big storm. It makes it hard to believe in global warming.

So far we have 15 inches and snow is still falling. When I went out to clean up , the wind had made my roof and driveway 2 to 4 feet deep in snow. The end of the driveway , where the snow plows had packed it , was four to five feet deep and 8 feet wide with snow so heavy and packed , my snow blower could just barely clear it. Tomorrow morning , I will get to go out and clean it all again from what we get tonight. So far this week (the last 7 days) , we have received almost 3 feet. UGH!! Enough !

About 5 degrees here. I don't mind the cold, but at least let it snow when it's cold!

Last year around this time I remember enjoying spring weather... Now it's just cold and it makes me sad in a way

Can't wait for spring to arrive!

Another big blizzard here in Maine today. About 1 foot of snow so far and many more hours before it passes. Wind is steady at 3oMPH with gusts up to 60MPH. The wind makes snow drifts 2 to 4 feet high in places. Temperature has been below freezing for several days. Filled up with heating oil today , used 150 gallons of oil in the last 3 months. Temperature here now is 28 degrees but feels like 5 degrees with the wind. There are thousands of people without electricity but I rarely lose power at my house. I'm not looking forward to spending 2 to 3 hours cleaning up tomorrow morning.

Ah. Same Blizzard is hitting me in Massachusetts, but not to that extent. I guess I should be grateful for the relatively milder weather...
(Or is it? It's dark now, maybe it's more snow than I thought... hmmm.)

No sign of trouble with the power (knock on wood, fingers crossed).

It was windy this morning but I haven't been out since then. Called off from work today so I stayed holed up alternately watching Anime and practicing my flute.

And napping. Because I could. 昼寝は凄いですよね。

Clear and cold weather here. About twenty degrees to single digits Fahrenheit. About three feet (roughly one meter) deep snow in the yard, but streets are clear; we haven't had snow in several weeks. Nice, sunny days, but still a bit cold.

Been snowing now for about 16 hours and another 4 or 5 hours of snow still to fall before the storm moves north of us. Like many spring storms , the snow is wet and very heavy. Each shovel full weighs in at about 15 pounds , so I get a good workout cleaning up. When the storm ends tonight it will be dark out , but I will have to spend 2 hours cleaning it up or it will all be frozen by tomorrow morning with temps in the 20's. The joy of living in a place with 4 separate seasons and next to the ocean.

Good luck, Frank! In Kanto, the cherry blossom season has already started, I believe we've reached almost 50% full bloom around here. No snow shovelling this year!

Sounds freezing! Cherry blossoms are almost in bloom here. It's still a bit cold, but a clear fine day today.

Cherry blossoms started blooming here in Yamaguchi ken. Lousy weather today though. Overcast with possible rain.
