I agree @ eidii-kun. Plus it's much more fun trying to get a real girl to talk to you! ^_^ Those anime sim-games are just wrong...But anyways, try something new like playing an instument or a sport. Anything to get you away from anime for a while. Take care of yourself!

Exactly! hence why i'm becoming a kids psycologist later in life. I can understand almost any emotions or problems they can throw at me. Except a lover that betrays them. Never felt that because my one true love plans on marriage (see my profile).

No need to worry, just make sure you can do all the things you like to do in life, Loving somebody/something is always better then hating somebody/something.

Love can't be bad, aslong you don't kill ya self ofcource ;)

So keep up doing the good thing, and i think your verry brave to tell us your problem/situation.

Okay dude, you seriously need to go out into the real world and start hanging out with real people. But if you are anything like otaku I have met before you should first TAKE A SHOWER. Make sure you use plenty of SOAP. Afterwards, get some DEODORANT. Then find this thing called a "comb" and run it through your hair a few times.

Hehehe... If you're fallen in love with an anime girl, there's no problem... just wait until the last episode was published^^ -Series is over (you'll just get a problem if the stuff's out on DVD... :p )
 
code7rei shouldn't watch tombstone for fireflies. Every otaku and non-otaku that has watched that anime has cried lika a baby!

code7rei, I seriously think you should try to mix around more with your peers and join some outdoor activities instead and stop watching anime or playing those games for a while. It's okay to think a fictional character is good looking or cute or cry and feel heart pain when the story gets very sad. I do that too. But it would help if you learned to draw a line between real and reel life. If you are not able to do so, it might get out of hand one of these days whereby you confused them both, and this is not a very good sign.. :mad:

Definition for otaku :mad: : "Fanatic". Slang word for hard-core fans of anything, roughly equating to "geek", "nerd", "fanboy", or "freak". Thus, a manga otaku is someone whose life revolves around manga to an extreme degree. The word usually has neutral connotations within fan culture, but it can sound highly negative in other contexts. In Japanese, the word "mania" means much the same as "otaku".

Literally, "o-taku" (J is formal speech for "your house", which is also a polite, somewhat distant, second-person way of saying "you". ) The word came to be applied to those fans or hobbyists who rarely got out and mingled with the rest of society.

(It is interesting to note that the English "fanatic" derives from the Latin "fanum", or temple/house - "fanatics" being a devoted worshipper.)

It has been speculated that the slang usage of "otaku" was coined by Shinda Mane, a manga artist active in the early '80s. Freelance writer Nakamori Akio popularised the term in an article for the June 1983 issue of Manga Burikko. The otaku entered public consciousness in 1989 with the arrest of serial killer Miyazaki Tsutomu, a dedicated anime/manga otaku.

After reading the above information, you will know why the word "otaku" is not very nice in Japanese culture. For those who still don't understand why or would like to find out more about the much-publicised serial killer otaku, you can click on the few links I had found below or search for his name under any search engine. You will find tons of information on the whole thing. Trust me. It's just too scary to read about the things he did even during the day. I may sound like I am exaggerating when I say my hair stands up even though I read about this serial killer thing during the day. Still, I'm sure I will not be the first or the last one.. a note to those with a weak heart, please don't search for his info at night.. :box: unless you want to freak yourself out.

It has before, countless times. People, exspecially teens have become obssesed with a game and think they can go around with an army suit on and a gun and call himself Solid Snake and shoot people up. It isn't funny.

Anyway, I think code7reino is pulling our leg here. If you seriously had a problem like this would you post a thread for everyone to read about it? I wouldn't tell anyone about my obssesion unless they figured I was an otaku and wouldn't leave me alone about it. If you are pulling our leg then that's just sick. It isn't funny at all either. If you seriously want help, go get it proffesionally instead of coming to us like this. We can't help you, we can't do anything for you from where we're sitting at our computer desks.
