Hi; I can't believe i'm really talking to someone so far away. I am doing research on a book that was brought over here in the USA, after ww2. it has the most beautiful pictures and pull outs. it's about the going out of the Emperor to Psaka March in the Meiji left to Osaka from Kyoto . the book is held together by silk ribbon and it appears that it was stapled for strength too. it has the most unusal pictures in it. they are framed with card-board frames and the pull-outs are beautiful. I want to know the name and as much about it as I can learn. it is written in Japanese, except for some descriptions in English. There is a seven fold pull out with beautiful pictures of the Emperor's wife and him.
I am a retired teacher living in a little farm and pastoring a church, in rural Oklahoma. USA. this is so exciting, our friend brought this book home when the war with Japan was over in the fortys. I would appriciate anyone's help to identify the Book. thanks for listening, Wadestreasure.
