If possible, could you please kindly help me with meaning of てはなりません for the sentence below:
「さあ おまえさま この ぬのを うりにいって きてください。
でも こちらから いくら ほしいと ねだんを つけては なりませんよ。」
I assumed, that verb~てはなりません would mean "do not do verb", and I could translate whole sentence as:
Now, please sell this cloth and came back. But from now, when you will be asked "How much the price" you should not appraise.
Another little difficulty if こちらから I have translated it as "from now" i.e. from this location up to the moment of selling. But I am not sure if it is correct interpretation.
