Context: 狂三, a girl and a 精霊, was fighting a war with an evil company called DEM to prevent the company from killing 士道. 琴里 was going to help 狂三 because she wanted protect 士道 too.

Hi. Could you please explain why there is a っていう before んじゃ? What is this usage? I know のでは is a fixed grammar construction meaning “if”. I would use 総力戦なんじゃ.

By the way, the does だもの in green mean “because”? (But I feel it is a bit weird to insert “because” into that sentence...)

Thank you.

っていうんじゃ is a colloquial contraction of というのでは, as you know. の is a pronoun here, thus, 総力戦っていうの means 総力戦というやり方/方法/戦い方 or along the line.

It's "because." そのあと狂三を封印できるのが最良だから、助けられる場面で助けないような真似はしないわよ makes more sense?
