Okay, so I know that 出汁 is the ingredient called dashi, correct? And 砂糖 is sugar... so... What does the 派 make to these? Does it mean... a group of dashi/sugar? o_O

Oh, and btw while I'm at it anyway - 家庭 means household/family if I'm not mistaken, but can it be something more?

Thanks. :)

Not sure about the first point but the second one can mean "home" as well I believe

家庭とは愛情のある場所である = Home is where the heart lies.

Those words refer to two groups; the ones who like a dish flavored with dashi and sugar, respectively. Maybe you are reading something about rolled egg/Japanese omelette(卵焼き)? 出汁派 / 砂糖派 are often used in a context "Which type of rolled egg do you like?" or "Which group do your family belong to, the ones who use dashi in rolled egg or sugar?"
