If even we thank you two 鉄也 don't need to thank at all (?). Doesn't make sense.
Context: 鉄也さん and his girl friend fight against evil at Earth. The girl apologize their comrades for taking trouble cure 鉄也's wound.

What precisely comes before it? That's what the "if" of "なら" is referring to, not what follows it.

e.g. if someone responds to something a line like "ならいいけど" , it has a meaning like "if that's the case, then good" (but if that's not so, then not). It can't mean "if good".
