ちゃんと generally expresses "to do/be in the right way". In the example sentence, it means "regularly" or "with no picky eating".

Thank you, and thank you for the corrections! I knew there'd be a fancy version of a verb that starts with 見 to get what I'm really trying to say across. I swear, I need a notebook to write down all these nuances to drill them in my head. But they very helpful, thank you!

No problem. Basically, it's not the matter of the grammatical correctness but just the matter of the naturalness of the sentence. You did quite well. I completely understand what you wanted to say.
