Hi,

1. 「たった一人で!クリスマスだっちゅうのに!」

Is だっちゅう = だ (copula) + って (quoting) + いう?

2. 「吸魂鬼のやつらが城の中さ入らんようにしとくとか、 ... 」

What is this さ?

3. 子供に少し愛情を注いで見給え、すると君におびただし い愛情が戻ってくる。

Does 見給え here mean "please try (and see what happens)"?

4. どうせ、妙子さんが怖がって、有利さんも道連れにしよ うとしたんでしょ。

How do we know whether the subject of しようとした is 妙子さん or 有利さん?

だっちゅう / さ / 見給え /

1. Yes
2. Dialectical variant of へ
3. Command, very 目上ish (〜給う --> 給え.....see?). I don't think it is quite as common as it used to be. I know I've seen it in older books far more than in newer books. 見給え would more likely be 見ろ these days.
4. Probably by context.

2)
In addition, さ is a dialectal particle to indicate direction, so it also covers に.

4)
I agree with Mike-san. 妙子 was scared, so she tried to take 有利 along with her. It doesn't fit the context to interpret that 有利 is the subject.

Don't make me look smarter than I really am; I needed more context on #4 .

In (3), does 見 have the meaning "try (and see what happens)"?

Although it may make sense, I previously thought that this meaning was not written using kanji.

Hiragana is more common for auxiliary verbs, but kanji is also used.
