いらん / いかなかった / ともめ / にゃ / いなさる / そんじゃ

Hi,


1. 「そんなことは心配いらん」

Is いらん = 要らない?


2. 「父さん母さんがおまえさんになんにも残していかなか ったと思うのか？」

What is いかなかった? I'm trying to make it mean "didn't go", as in "didn't die", but, assuming the sentence essentiallly means "Do you think your parents went (= died) without leaving you anything?", I don't understand why the negative is on いかなかった and not on 残して.


3. 「小鬼ともめ事を起こすべからずだよ、・・・」

What is ともめ? I know that め can be a slightly disparaging suffix, but I'm not sure if it is here.


4. 「実は、ほかにもグリンゴッツに行かにゃならん用事が あってな」

Presumably にゃ is yet another abbreviation of なければ, is it?


5. 「俺を信用していなさる」

What is いなさる? I'm thinking some elaborate polite form of いる, but is this actually proper Japanese?


6. 「忘れ物はないかな。そんじゃ、出かけるとするか」

What is そんじゃ?


7. 「しかし、漕ぐっちゅうのもしゃくだな」

Is っちゅう = という?

When ～ていく means "to do and (then) go", ～ていかない and ～ないでいく are almost the same.
e.g.
朝ごはんを食べていかない ＝ 朝ごはんを食べないでいく
to go without eating breakfast

Whereas when ～ていく expresses continuous action/movement in the time line, these two expressions have different meanings, since ～ないでいく can't express this kind of action/movement.
e.g.
痩せていかない
not to become slim

痩せないでいく
to go without being slim

The example sentence belongs to the former case.
(残したけど行かなかった or something like that is used for "to do (but) not to go".)

Yes, in meaning. にゃ is actually from ねば, though.

It's an old men's way of saying いらっしゃる, as same as #3 in this thread.

what does
しかし、漕ぐというのもしゃくだな
mean, anyways? not to mention what does the ending shaku da na mean. perhaps 癪? if so what does to iu really mean here?

But, rowing[boat?] is also pretty annoying too.

I think togu works for peddling a bike too, but assuming harry potter is being read all i recall are those canoes to get hogwarts..

ねば is classical. ね is from a classical auxiliary verb ぬ for negative. (なけれ is from an adjective なし.)

こぐ, not とぐ.

～という is used to emphasize what the speaker is talking about here. The meaning is the same as 漕ぐのもしゃくだ.
