I checked the definitions for this, and I get the two I got:
But I have this sentence: 横取りしよったってそうは行かんぞ, and I'm not sure which definition fits this use of たって, especially since しよ(う) isn't 連用形, 終止形, or 命令形. I swear that's what I'm hearing, though. Either way, the meaning seems to be so close between the two definitions that there isn't much appreciable difference no matter which one you choose, but I'd still like to clear up this 意向形 question I have. It's used about someone else's actions, so would it have to be 推量? Even if it is, I still don't completely understand what's going on here. What exactly does it mean, and what would be a rephrasing of it?
