Takamasamune Daiginjō Chikusui 17 (鷹正宗 大吟醸酒筑水17) has an alcohol content of 17% or more while maintaining a gorgeous aroma, refreshing richness, and umami. The label has a novel design that arranges the geometric patterns of Kurume Kasuri (久留米絣), one of Japan's three major Kasuri patterns, with gold. It goes well with Chinese and Japanese dishes.
The Chikusui 17 series (筑水17のシリーズ):
The Chikusui 17 series, which started with Junmai sake, has grown to four varieties: a Daiginjō and a Ginjō in 2017; a Junmai Ginjō in 2018. The label has been well received. The slogan of the series is 「あえて17度!」"Dare to go 17%!" It is versatile and can be enjoyed on the rocks, topped with a lime, or, more traditionally, chilled to around 10°C, at room temperature, or warmed.Awards:
