As the name of the series implies, Chikusui 17 is strong. The Daiginjo has a fruity nose of apples, strawberries, and pears. Medium body with a silky texture; the vigorously sweet attack is followed by pleasant umami as well as intense acidity and bitterness mid-palate. Peppery finish. It left quite a dramatic impression, and we hope the brewery will survive.
