You can see some of its biases from the pics I already posted. For example almost every time I mention Japan it creates pictures of black haired Asian-looking people.
They might replace stock photography libraries.

I'm aware of this. This is the kind of thing that needs to be mitigated on the supply side. If we can't get people to stop buying water in bottles when they get perfectly good water out of the tap, we're not going to get end users to think seriously about their use of AI.I'll just throw this in.

In any case according to this research generating 1000 images is the equivalent to driving about 4 miles in CO2 generation. For me the amusement I get from creating images for this thread is worth it.
Plus the costs will naturally be driven down over time as more efficient computing models and infrastructure are deployed.
I would travel to see some of these in person (and to take pictures).
I'm curious to see if the photo generator here can in any way come up with those "electric" lilies.
