Need some info on this translation to English

This is the Book of Mormon. Its been in my possession for ... well... I'm not sure if this book is the original from the Taisho Period. If so, it would make it about 100 years old.
If you have any info regarding the pictures, I'd appreciate it.
Also, how can I go about finding its value, might just be a "treasure" of some sort.
I'm not looking for the translation , but need to know the Kanji on the left side.

Is it possible to tell the year it was published. I know this book was in Fukuoka at the Mormon Church and possibly before that it may have been one of the few books available at the church in Nagasaki . If it was published in 1922 then it from the Taisho Period of 1901 to 1923 .

I can take more pictures of it if you want.

I think the numbers there on the left are related to volume, chapter and verse not a date. Is there something that looks like a title or copyright page?

I don't see a copyright page on this book I just took a couple more clearer pictures maybe you can see the kanji little better.

The state of that paper and print quality leads me to make an amateur estimate that it was printed in the 80's or 90's. Even if it's from the 1909 version, I can't imagine this having much resale value, unless if it had some significant provenance or signatures in it.

You could check the translation to help date the book, as there have been several translations over the years.

Thanks for your help. I know for a fact that it is over 40 years old . My guess is over 60. I haven't heard back from anyone in the church here. Most of the people there do know me.

Thanks. I also have a 5 yen the one with the hole inside of it it's about over 60 years of age I wonder if that has any value to it.

Considering how wealthy the Mormons are you could try selling it in the U.S. You don't have prove its age, just hype up what you think you know about it and its historical value.

5 Yen coins, even 60 year old ones, only have a value of 5 yen. There were too many of them in circulation to be valuable.

Regarding the book, do you have a photo of the title page, or the page facing the title page? Or maybe the very last page of the book? Usually that is where the publishing info is printed. I just looked on Yahoo auctions, and there are some ranging in price from 300 yen to a little over 1200 yen.

This was Brigham Young's own copy of the book of Mormon-kyō!
