Need Help Translating WWII Japanese Sword Tang & Family Crest

Name on the sword is 安藤兼基鍛 (made by ANDŌ Kanemoto).
The small oval-shaped crest on the handle of the sword has the family name Aoki (青木), which would be the name of the person carrying the sword.
The white painted numbers on the tang of the sword are assembly numbers, and of no great consequence. I don't know anything about Andō Kanemoto, but you may be able to find more information at the site below.
