Not sure, I'll ask next time someone's around. Not too dissimilar from higan-bana, maybe some kind of orchid?Beautiful, @johnnyG! Forgive me my botanical ignorance, what is it?
It could be the netting throwing the autofocus just slightly off. I have had that happen before. Also the blue of the netting is adding a cool color to an otherwise warm color picture which can add some harshness (if we are talking about the same thing). An experiment to try to use horizontals, also cropped a little, and a few other adjustments, The structure of this seems right, but something about the sharpness or definition is wrong. It seems harsh somehow--something's a little 'off'.

Ya know summer's here when...
For even greater thrill next time try riding down it when it's wet. This was one of the steepest roads I have ever climbed (or descended) on a bicycle. Though only 50 yards in length, it was pretty scary.
Hmmm tough one. Looks a lot like Epcot Center in Orlando.Taken today! Where is it?
A few impression from my commute today. I'm always surprised at the gems hidden in unknown corners nearby.
