Thanks--I'm trying to A/B those to decide, and leaning toward your originals. The second, closer one in B&W seems to at least be an okay alternative to your original; the first seems better as the original (color).

That structure seems like something that could be fertile for some B&Ws.

These are late this year. As their name implies, they should have popped a couple weeks ago.

There are some white ones around, but much less common.

The famous Tottori Sand Dunes

I was headed to go camping there in August but it rained so much. Got to Shimane and camped at Iwami Seaside Park though.

Great shot! That's R14 crossing into Chiba, if I'm not mistaken. I assume you got your bike.

Thank you! R14 it is, Ichikawabashi. As for the bike, i got one, but i suspect that the chain or gears were meddled somehow to prevent speeding. While wheels spin freely without any resistance, pedalling feels somewhat difficult. Is it a common thing among city bikes in Japan?

Pedaling should be smooth and easy (excepting hills, of course!). Also, quiet. Maybe something needs a look and some adjustments?

It looks new, have you had it back where you bought it for an initial check?
