I'm having several issues with this text&graph:

2) First, I don't know what the graph is actually showing me.
The text is about some trends in the answers to the respective items of the poll.
But I can't see how the results of the poll are represented in the graph. I must add that I think that this is a standardized poll, so people have to pick an answer instead of articulating their own answer (less work for evaluation of the raw data).
There seem to be 3 or 5 options for an answer. 2 are showcased in the text, 3 are mentioned in the graph.
This graph would only work if it showed the proportions between men and women in respect to ONE specific answer to the respective items displayed in the graph.
Either that or I'm too dumb to understand the graph.
3) The biggest confusion in my opinion arises from the fact that I don't understand the graph. Its this:
"
どちらも時間が止まるのは同じですが、前者の答え女性、校舎の答えは男性が多くて、男性のほうが悲観的な考え方をする傾向がありました。
What or who is "both" here? Is it the answers that were explained before? Or is it the groups of people, men and women, who have both answered with the "timestop" answers?
Again, even if this point is clarified, the graph in my opinion still doesn't make any sense, because it doesn't explain what the bars actually tell me about the choices men and women have made.
However, here's how I would translate this passage, for the sake of completeness:
"Though both stopping time are the same, because the first answer (was used) often by women, the latter answer (was used) often by men, there was a trend for the men to have a more pessimist way of thinking."
I'd rather say "Though stopping time was for both the same..." because I think that the meaning is that both men and women used the "timestop" answer, but each group its own version.
