Hi! So I really love making friendship bracelets :D I was thinking of making a bracelet as a silly inside joke, with myself. You know how people like to get tattoos and clothes with random Japanese words? Well, I thought I would make a Japanese bracelet. It's supposed to, literally, say "something meaningful" or "thing that has meaning" or something like that. So when someone asks "Oh, cool, what does that mean?" I can giggle to myself when I tell them it says something meaningful.

The thing is, I need it to be in pixel format so that I can make it in bracelet form. I planned it out in MS Paint but I'm not sure if A) it's recognizable as the certain symbols, or B) if it actually says "meaningful".

So, my Japanese friends, could you please tell me if you can read the text in the image below? If you have a suggestion on how to make it better I would love that. Thanks so much! ^_^b

The grammar needs correcting. Change the の to が

You're actually saying "it has meaning", by the way.

Allow me to suggest 話の種 and 貴方の名前 for future projects.

Wow so I Googled your suggestions and can I just say... that's hilarious ^-^ I might print that on a t-shirt! As for it saying "it has meaning", that's close enough for me honestly :D So I'm guessing since you could read it, the letters (are they called letters?) look okay. Thanks a ton!

How about 意味深い or 意味あり instead?

Or to really mess with people, 無意味

I think that 意味のあること is a better translation for what you are trying to say.
I also think that the PixelMplus12 font looks good for this project. I used it to make this image:

Oh hi :D Your post came up as soon as I replied to the other one XD And well, now that I spent like an hour in paint placing all those dots, that might come in handy.

There's a font for everything.

By the way, for software, I recommend using GIMP. It's free and far superior to MS Paint. There is a learning curve, though, if you don't have experience with Photoshop.

Paint's pencil tool is easy enough to use. Just takes a while to make symbols look like they should :D So what do you think about the pink one? I think I like it, as long as it makes sense to you and I didn't draw the symbols wrong or weirdly. I appreciate your feedback ^-^b

If you want it to specifically say "something meaningful", then I think you should go with mine. If it's OK if it just says "meaningful" or "deeply meaningful" or something like that, then any of the others are OK, too.
Your pink one is OK, but the left side of the third character looks slightly strange.
I redid it using the font I mentioned. You are welcome to use any or all of this.

Sure, I'm gonna try and use yours then. Maybe in a few days I'll reply with the finished product. Thanks again!

Another suggestion

訊くな

Whether they ask "What does it say?" or "What does it mean?" you can answer the same thing...."Don't ask"
