What does お代官様ごっこ mean? Is that like unwinding someone's yukata sash for fun?

If that interpretation fits the context, it can refer to that kind of play (not specific to yukata, but kimono in general, though). You can see the girl in kimono says あ～れ～ お代官様、お許しを～！ in the picture below. This is taken from a typical scene in a historical play.

Thanks Toritoribe. I have another question. There's a scene in a visual novel I'm reading where a group of people are yelling たーまやー! and かーぎやー! while at a fireworks show. Any ideas?

玉屋 and 鍵屋 are both the names of famous fireworks makers in Edo. People did that in a fireworks display.

Hello everybody!I'm new of this forum but I have a huge question to ask you...I want to make a present to my girlfriend wich is crazy about Japan and owls just like me..and I found this beatiful Ukyo-e by Hiroshige wich I think ia perfect as a present..but there is a small Haiku on it and I just can't find the translation anywhere on the web..I would love to tell her what does it says..is there anyone who can help me with this?
The haiku is:
大木や はくれはくれは 若かえて
and the beautiful picture is the one on my profile..it's called "Small Horned Owl on Maple Branch under Full Moon"!
I hope somebody may help me..thank you all very much!
I came across this on Facebook too. Near as I can tell, 大木 is "big tree", くれは is "fall leaves", and 若 is "young" or "same, similar". Sorry I don't have any more information.

I already answered it. The middle verse should be parsed as はくれ/はくれ/は（＝ はぐれ/はぐれ/は ＝ 逸れ逸れは）, and not は/くれは/くれは.

Having some doubt about ように + negative form.
寒い気候のせいで、作物が思うように育たないようです。The way i understood it - the crops hadn't grown enough to meet the expectations.
Now if i need to rephrase it so that expectations were as poor as the yield would it be 寒い気候のせいで、作物が思った通りに育たないようです。?
My doubt is whether the first sentence also states that the crop was expected to be insufficient?

Those two sentences have the same meaning; "less than expected".
I would say 思った通り/予想通り、寒い気候のせいで作物が（あまり/うまく）育たないようです。 for "the expectation is also poor".
思った通り is ambiguous ("as I thought/feared" and "less than expected"), if it's just, for instance, 思った通り育たないようです, but 思う通り/思う通りに/思った通りに育たないようです are all "less than expected".
