からにする

Hey there folks,

I'd like to get some info on this usage of からにする - can't quite find anywhere going into detail about this.

Here's the excerpt from the conversation where I found it (A's an older warrior fighting a younger, upcoming one):

A「荒削りながら、才能のきらめきを感じる…！これが若さか！」
B「評論家を気取るつもりか？それとも内心の焦りを隠すポーズか？」
A「フ…全力で来る相手に対して失礼だったな。その詫びもある…！私の全力でお前を討つ！」
B「今度は一転して大物気取りか！そういう態度は、俺を黙らせてからにするんだな！」

The overall conversation is clear to me and, even, the intent of the last phrase seems to be speaker A refusing to be intimidated the B's posturing. But what does ～からにする do when added to 黙らせて?

Oh, I've seen 後にする but not からにする. Now it makes perfect sense!

And it seems my previous post vanished for some reason...odd.

Yeah, that makes a lot more sense now.

Odd that I found so little information it being used like that (usually it's either used with a position in time or as 空にする). Do people simply prefer 後にする?
