Hi,
Does anybody knows how good have to be your english for this scholarship?
In the application form should I mark Good or Excellent, My english is intermediate.
What do you guys think?
Good luck to all!
Thanks a lot for the info.
It would be nice if as soon as any of us receive the email we could post it for the others to know![]()
Hello Sanos, I contacted the SRE and they told me the results will be send at the end of the week (possibly thursday- friday) via email. *Re-Edit*
Oh Gosh! I've just received the email from the SRE. I've been pre-selected! I'm really excited and nervous at the same time.
I wish all the best to you!
Can anyone help me on this?
"Enter the names of the universities in which you would like to enroll and state whether you have obtained Admission from them. If you have not gained admission, please explain the reasons in full. (No more than three universities.) Do not, enter the name of universities you have already been rejected. MEXT will request your admission only to the universities listed below."
What is mean by "whether have obtained Admission from them"? Does it mean the university entrance exam? Or it just mean verbal agreement with the professors?
Thank!
If you look into one of the attachments (Notes on Remarks), scroll down to the section for placement preference form. It says ignore the part to state whether you've obtained admission. Though you still need to obtain admission from your potential supervisors but you don't have to state whether you have or not in the form.![]()
I am in a similar boat. I have good grades, amazing references, great work experience, and a decently well written research proposal, but I have done very little research. I submitted my application earlier this month and I am waiting to hear back, but when I do will keep you posted.Back in my bachelor and master studies research wasn't really a big component (I was in design and we worked in studios mostly). I am not sure if this is the right topic to post in, but I am just wondering how much does past research experience affect your chances of getting in?
