So another forum I'm a member of has a thread where people post photos they took. While I'm a barely marginal photographer I love to see the pictures. So, to that end, I'm starting this thread here with the hopes that you guys will contribute and show me all the cool stuff you see.
I'll start (hopefully this works):

You have noticed at the top left of the page , our gallery with about 11 years of our members photos ? Lots there to see and enjoy.

I had not, I mainly use the forum on my phone and unsure how to access that. Any tips?

Thanks!

I'm so old , my cell phone has a rotary dial. Hopefully someone here is more tech savy and can help. It would be worth your effort to borrow someone's PC to check them out if there is no way to do it on your phone.

Thanks very much, hopefully someone will pop in with the info as I'm quite keen to see the pics!

iPhone, thanks for the link, I'd just been using Tapatalk.

There's no direct link in Tapatalk, you can however access on Safari. The gallery does have a mobile skin, but it's not really user-friendly. Have to think of a better solution.

Anyhow, thanks for the thread, let's keep posting photos here too!

Thanks!

Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi.

Funny how some iPhone pictures turn out better than SLR photos, lol.

Very nice, I get the same thing with my phone, I chalk it up to my poor skills with my camera though! ;-). What camera do you use? I just have an inexpensive Sony point and shoot.

Nice place! Is that your residence?

I'm using a run-of-the-mill Canon Kiss, which is probably still too sophisticated for my mediocre skills.

We had a few veritable master photographers on board, like Mike Cash who unfortunately no longer visits the forum.

While browsing my iPhone Photostream...

Not my place, sadly, I'm stuck in an apartment for the foreseeable future.

That first one is one of the things I was hoping to see coming here, but down here we don't get that spaghetti electric like mainland.

The second is awesome, perfect lighting!

Not a flake here yet in this season. They've announced snowfall for tomorrow, but seeing is believing.

Excellent photo, where was that taken?

A few photos from commutes and other bike adventures:

It's a butterfly habitat here on the island. Small but very neat butterflies!

I love the shadowing on the first pic!

I'm a far more casual rider. I just ride along the seawall or to the store.

Wonko, the cherry blossoms will be blooming in February in Okinawa, usually around Kenkokukinenbi. A fair warning for you!

Awesome, looking forward to seeing them!!

I missed getting here in time to see the sea turtles hatch last year, hopefully this year.
