Happy birthday, Def! Seems you had a good one.

Thanks! I had cake and whatnot with the family, then went out on the weekend. But really, I just appreciate some indulgent 'alone time'.

Def, I have to stop reading after the first page of these, but I love them! I'll definitely be back to read the rest.

Thanks, but to be honest, that first page is the worst of them. They get much better after that!

It's true that your drawing gets more sophisticated, but I think many of the early ones are so honest and closely observed that they'd be successful even with stick figures.

4 hours of doing nothing? I bet I'll be online for the rest of the remaining free time. lol It's good thing that people are still paying you there even if you don't have anything to do as of the moment. That's nice.

Being paid to do nothing can be a little humiliating, but it's not something to really complain about. It's better than what a lot of people have to do. I rarely just surf the net though, I generally draw (and a year ago, study French).

What I mean is if you have some short breaks because of some things happened, it's good that you still get paid because of that break, Though your presence is still in there. I kind of envy that because my work isn't like that. If my boss will tell me that there's no work for today, I'd be really sad as there are no salaries as well. xD

More experiments interspersed with my diary stuff:

The Sunday funnies.

Since around 1954 , I have looked forward to reading the Sunday funnies each week. I now find the same pleasure in looking forward to your next release. Keep up the good work.
