Oh my god... D: Sometimes kids suck.. a lot of times. No one ever did that to me in elementary school, but I did get hit in the head playing dodgeball (hands down worst physical activity ever). This def takes me back to that time.
Took me two days to catch up to everyone else. I like your way of storytelling, with both the facial expressions and narration. Good job! Do you draw other stuff that aren't posted here, besides these short stories?

I do, here and there. I've finished one seven-page piece this year (Backwards Japan), and am working on another. I'm putting lots of time into these diary strips, so I think I'll pack them in (for the time being) on new years eve 2013. This summer, I've managed to put together a new aesthetic strip, and once its 14 pages + covers are completed, I'll start on a few narratives I have conceived.

Not my favourite, neither in technique nor in writing, but they can't all be winners.
I'm well behind again. I've spent the month completing my new booklet, and plan to finish as many diary strips as I can this week. Still, the book is satisfying!
I printed my test version today, and it looked better than expected:
I realise most normal people don't buy 'art comics,' so while I'll be printing this up as a comic, I'll also be reassembling it as an A3 poster, and as postcards for sale... Truth is, people who buy art simply as decoration are heathens, and the true appreciators want to hold art in their hand (to the comic artist). That being said, a majority of the art I buy is of mainly decorative value.
All in all, a busy August, despite me updating this thread far less than the last few months.

Wow, your comics (illustrations?) look great on print! People do buy 'art comics' but well, not a lot...
I'm also going to do my first comic? book next year after I move back to Singapore in oct
BTW, maybe you can setup a shop at Zazzle or some other fulfilment websites?

Ah, sometime in the future. I'd much rather just have them on the Internet for now, try to build things up, and find a publisher, whether in colour or black and white. I have lots of time, so no rush!

I don't mind babysitting, which is basically just spending a lot of time with my daughter, but weeks of it is emotionally draining. I honestly love spending time with kids... Just not non--stop.This must have been a really bad headache in your part, I hate babysitting as well.

I was very reluctant to come out, but now I'm glad to know there are others who "cannot complain about anything". It doesn't have to be cheese, right?
