Hi everyone, I'm new here and was wondering if someone could help me translate this conversation where two people first meet?
Woman: Ju ni sai desta
Man: Ho ma ka? (suprised)
Woman: Hai, Ju ni sai desta!
Man: Sho gak si a ta ja!
Any one have any clue?
Thanks in advance!![]()
Did you type up what you've heard? Or write down what you've read?
In any case, there seem to be missing sound (or alphabets) which I guess should be something like this:
Woman: Juuni sai deshita
Man: Honma ka? (suprised)
Woman: Hai, Juuni sai deshita!
Man: Shogaksei dattan jan!
Woman: (I was) twelve years old.
Man: Really?
Woman: Yes, twelve years old!
Man: (So you) were an elementary school pupil!
"Honma" is a Kansai dialect, and the 2nd speech of the man ending "jan" is Kanto (or Yokohama) dialect, either of them could be mis-spelt or something.
Without the context, I cannot guess more, hope this is of some help.
