I do not think it is an actually word, but the kanjis mean beautiful, courage, and woman. so that middle one is courage, not man.

Looks like 相, 愛, 符.
You might find

Multiradical search at sljfaq.org

useful (search for kanji by components).
E.g. click on 木 and 目 to find 相.

Need help to write "Father is Peace" in Kanji

Hello to everybody,

I need help to write "Father in peace" in Kanji. The meaning of Axel is Father of peace, and that is what I need in Kanji. Are the some way to write "Father of peace" in Kanji??
The reason I am looking for this is because I will be papa next may and I Want to make me a tatto with the name of mi son.

鶯 means bush warbler, not nightingale, and is rarely used for a family name. A site regarding Japanese family names says that there are only 20 or so families in Japan.

Thanks for the help! No, I saw the thread about the tattoo thing, and this isn't going to be on anything permanently (maybe 8 months at most). Its just for something in my room. Because space is limited, I don't have room to right it out in English (and it looked out of place when I tried.).

Because of the "suppose" I double checked on Google Translate, and I know GT isn't 100% accurate, but 猿の王様 gives me "King of the Apes." However both 猿王 and 王猿 gives me "Monkey King." Which of these is correct?

Honestly, I would not be able to tell you if 猿王 or 王猿 could be thought of as actually words. My instinct says "no, not really" but you would have to ask a Japanese person to be sure. Also "ape" is actually kind of an ambiguous term as far as I know. Plus the first word in my dictionary for 猿 is monkey and, if you go to wikipedia and type in monkey then go to the japanese page you get 猿 whereas doing the same thing with ape you do not.

Just looking at the two kanji, it would mean "remaining bullets" or maybe "remaining fragments of bullets."

Can't say for sure without context.

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah I think it has something to do with the amount of ammunition left.

The context is that Yotsuba (a little girl thats the main character of a manga called Yotsuba, a comedy) is going around with a water pistol spraying everyone in a gangster like manner. When she tries to spray the smartest of the family Sanagi who is on the phone with her friend (this family by the way are her next door neighbours) the girl doesn't flinch when the gun is pointed at her and when no water comes out when Yotsuba fires Sanagi says to her friend "Yeah you always got to check "残弾" you know?"
(Sanagi was describing the situation to her friend all throughout)

Btw what Sanagi says is in Japanese, but I can't remember her exact sentence and I'm at Uni, but thats the gist of what she said.
