Preference for Japanese woman?

If this attachment works, how about this woman? Personally, I think she's simply divine.

If I were to judge based solely on physical attractiveness, I'd say that she's not really my type...but you know the popular saying十人十色 ^^

No problem. She's not from Japan, anyway.
So to be more on topic, in terms of Japanese women, I've always liked Matsushima Nanako.

I've always liked women with dark hair. I've only dated one blonde in my life, and not for very long at that. I've never dated a redhead in my life, although I do think that Alma is pretty cute, judging by her profile picture. 😊

I've known quite a few Japanese men who fantasize about western women due to looks, too, by the way. They tend to like the idea of women having different hair and eye colours, which is understandable, seeing as every Japanese woman naturally has black hair and dark brown eyes. Variety is the spice of life, no?

Solely on sexual attraction, I am on the anti-Asia side.

Asian women in general aren't appealing to me.

Maybe it's their eyes, or that many of them have no *** (I like nicely shaped big ones) or the absence of breasts on many of them.

I realize I am biased and just made a gross generalization, but by God, walk around in downtown Hong Kong or along George Street in Sydney CBD in the middle of a business day, and you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Paradoxically, I also don't find black women attractive.

About a society's philosophy, however, I would prefer the Japanese above all others. At least when it comes to what femininity entails.

Feminists ruined it for me in the Western Society.

The so-called "Feminist Revolution" in Western Society ruined it for me. If you were part of it, you ruined it for me.

Aspects that make women attractive to me on a psychological level have been lost in most cases.

Outgoing, career-seeking, ambitious, open to everyone, flirtatious are all the opposite of features I search for in woman.

Other features such as modesty, decency and female elegance have also been lost in many cases.

Women display their bodies in a manner of being "sexy", some in completely ridiculous outfits. Real sexiness, which to me is exploration of a woman's body in an intimate fashion, all gone.

What is the point in exploring her body, when the world already knows 95% of it? Nothing special to it remains.

All of these may or may not be views upheld by the male population, but they certainly are upheld by me.

It is all gone, but to be honest, I think its up to them to decide whichever way they wish to live.

Not to mention that you can always have a nice laugh looking at some fool who just can't walk in high heels, or another that displays her orangutan belly.

Personally, it will be a formidable task to take care of myself in the world, I can only imagine how often I'd **** off to a different country if I was the "breadwinner" literally.

Besides, I seem to have a thing for women with weapons, especially when they're half monster, or something dangerous rofl.
Neither Asian, western or African women are half monster (unfortunately), so I don't really have a priority list, not to mention that I have the sexual drive of a rotting corpse.

Of course it is up to them. However, that does not mean I would settle for something less than what I desire.

I realize I might never get married, since the woman I seek is extremely rare, but apparently that's just how life is in such a rotten society.

Yeah, ditto on that one. It is the best fun watching a fat woman, with a skirt and blouse 10 sizes too small for her, walking around on a street and believing herself to look good.

I have taken care of myself ever since I was 17 and at this point, with the amount of money I make, I would gladly be the "breadwinner" of a family.

Guess you and I differ greatly in that respect. :)

Whenever the thought crosses my mind, that someone could call me honey, or daddy or whatever, I feel like castrating myself. I just can't, I simply can't take the whole family atmosphere. Especially imagining something among the lines of "Honey, lets go to X's party." or "Daddy, will you help me make a campfire?" could be a very real threat to my sanity.

Now given all this, the "your space/my space" sorta model sounds ok to me. I mean, im a pretty hardcore introvert, so my social life consists currently of the short visits to the kitchen to make some food, during which I sometimes meet my flatmates.

But now that I think about that, I don't think any woman could get used to that long term, regardless of culture and race.

Awww, don't be so hard on yourself.

You might be in luck with your future half-monster girlfriend. :)

My brother, I'm not trying to be condescending of your age so please do not take it as such. Yet, you're only 18. You might be a man, but you're still one that has a long future ahead of you. There is no need to fear the prospect of building a family life as you have other higher priorities in your mind. Go with the flow and everything else will fall into place. You might one day look forward to earning the title of "daddy." Bonus points if you get your girlfriend to call you that first.

Bit of a tangent here, but Derfel, your new nickname is "Daddy."

The sooner you figure out that your problem begins and ends with YOU, the better off you'll be.

Well done on writing something and saying nothing.

I am quite true to what I want and I see no reason why the woman I desire should be the wrong one.

Please explain that one to me, Mr Smartarse.

If an outgoing, ambition woman isn't 'womanly' for you then what is? A meek subservient woman? A woman that doesn't voice opinions? Someone who's sole goal in life is to cook, clean and breed?

Come on, even you have to realize that idea is outdated. If it was such a great way of doing things don't you think the feminist revolution would never have taken place? The fact that it did should make it kind of obvious that something wasn't right with the system.

Way to jump to conclusions.

No, I am not a traditional man. In actuality, I am extremely liberal.

I very much would like my ideal woman to always voice her opinion to me and complain about things with which she is not comfortable.

I always strive to fulfill her wishes as long as it doesn't become completely ridiculous, always ask for her opinion and am a very devoted person.

And no, being an outgoing person is not a feature of a woman I like.

I would never force a woman not to be outgoing, since it is completely her decision, but it should not and cannot be expected of me to think fondly of such women.

It may seem like I have double standards, but I don't.

I am always prepared to end all my friendships with women outside my family, to stop going out and dropping any kind of work, if she so much as hints at being unhappy because of it.

In return I expect the same devotion from her.

At the end of the day, I am likely more pro-woman than the idiotic "Feminist Revolution".

Someone who's sole goal in life is to cook, clean and breed?

Nope.

She doesn't have to cook or clean for me, if she does not wish to do so; I am very self-sufficient anyway. However, I wouldn't pass up on a meal made by her for me, but that is simply how I am.

Plus, we would probably be too busy traveling the world, for her to be housebound and cleaning the place.

Well...it does have some good and bad sides.

Personally, ambitious women tend to scare me and, no offense, but I tend to avoid this type in particular ^^

I am not saying that a "meek subservient" woman represents an ideal, and I feel sorry for those who have been "brainwashed" into this pattern, but there is in my opinion a compromise. For example, I can't imagine an ambitious career woman suddently stopping everything to raise a family.

I might sound old fashioned or anti-feminist and I apologize in advance, but in western countries (esp. in the United States), quite a few surveys have illustrated how "castrated" men felt since the feminist revolution.

Nowadays, there doesn't seem to be any stable institution anymore and it tends to make people feel insecure. Marriage has become pretty obsolete with the popularization of divorces, and when looking at the countless reconstructed families, one cannot help but wonder what's the use in getting engaged.

Although I am sure many women were unhappy in their marriage, and the revolution allowed them to reach a better situation, the symbol of a family used to provide some sort of a secure feeling to many men. However now it's over, and although society is evolving, it's difficult to change people's way of thinking from one day to another. Many people still do not, or refuse to understand that women's goals and view of men has changed tremendously. And of course, so has their requirement for a suitable partner.

This might not be a very convicing example but the other day, they had a TV show where they interviewed people from the "Bridget Jones generation". From a general woman standpoint, men were not good enough anymore or they didn't tend to stay good long enough for them. For Men, it's something different that was explained: fear of betrayal, no stability anymore, etc.

For some reason, this phenomenon is stronger in western countries, and if we add the "traditional image" that asian countries tend to gives off , it might explain partially why some people are attracted to asian ladies.

...
What was being debated was why some men choose to ONLY want Japanese/Asian women
...

1. Those SOME men seem ONLY the guy who rejected your friend, at least, here.
2. Japanese/Asian women and Japanese/Asian Canadian women are quite different.

Probably it is my poor English skill about my understanding above, but I still believe the strange reason of him was just his strategy, honne-tatemae, (white) lie, or whatever.
I don't know how small community he and your friend are in, but I am 100% sure that he knows how terrible it is when he gets all women hostile to him just because he would say the true reason to reject her. And I am 120% certain that he will create another eccentric reason when his new girlfriend is not Asian one.

I don't know that seems like a pretty outlandish lie. Maybe just saying you already have a girlfriend would be easier and more realistic if your gonna lie.
Maybe it's true, maybe this friend of the OP is not very attractive. This day and age people are pretty straightforward so his statement is probably 80-100% true with other reasons adding into to why he is not interested.

But even Pachipro, who was very forward and honest, still said that given the choice between an equally good looking asian or western woman he would choose the Asian woman.

It's just something I've rarely seen with other races. It is only with white people (N. Americans specifically) , really, that I've seen where they will, in a way, put their own women aside for another countries women, even if all they are attracted to is a stereotype. Of all the races I've known white people are pretty much the only ones where a large number will look at a woman of their own race and basically say, you're not good enough ... these women are much more beautiful.

Of course there is a lot of bias here because this is a forum about Japan, so I would expect the majority to favor J.women but I'm still not sure what to think of someone that says 'if two equally beautiful western and j.women were standing before me I would pick the j.woman simply because she is Japanese'.

AyumiHamasakiandZhangZiyijpeg-1.webp

I'm not sure I'm getting what is the big deal with J.women. Yes they are beautiful but not any more beautiful that any other women, black, white, asian, hispanic ect. I'm just not getting the 'super awesomeness' of them that other people seem to be seeing.

The photo of the caucasian woman might capture the essence of what people like about caucasians but that other photo doesn't capture much if any of why I like Japanese women. The kinds of Japanese women I find attractive don't often pop up in magazines or on TV. Many of the reasons why I like Japanese women can't really be captured in a photo anyway. Aside from obviously thinking they are more attractive, there are certain intangibles that go along with it too.

No one race is more beautiful than another, that's an impossible argument, but it's not inconceivable that a person can find one physical genotype more agreeable than another. But again as I said, it's not just physicalty for me.

What if she knew that he had no girlfriend? Still, that was just one guy, it happens sometimes. It reminds me of a lady who hung up with me while constantly saying "I'm absolutely not interrested in Asian guys they're just not my type". I'd have liked to make her say that again when she ended up with a vietnamese friend of mine...

So it's just genetics eh? :)
That might explain why I'm not attracted by asian women...but my growing environment might have something to do with it as well...
Ah the good old Nature Vs Nurture debate...

Well if she doesn't know everything about the guy unless they are buddies and he tells her about every woman he dates. Still I don't think "I only date Asian women" wouldn't be a great excuse to not date someone unless it was the truth. So with that said, if your gonna lie you, typically you don't make yourself look like an ***.
The second Woman in the photos I don't find as attractive as the 1st.
but if this woman was standing next to the Caucasian:
30cc-1.webp

Or

It would be game over 😍😍😍😍

Hmm... I would say i have thing for dark hair and eyes, rather than strictly Asian girls. However.. i find the white girl posted earlier to be the most attractive of all these pictures. Pictures can be deceptive though. 3-D (in person) is always the best way know how you feel about someones looks.
