I've always learned that "good luck" is "がんばってください" but recently on BYKI (a software), I learned "ご成功を祈ります" which I've never heard of before. Is the second one more polite (since it probably means 'I pray for you success')?

Usually "good luck" is translated "がんばってください" or "がんばれ！". This word "がんばれ・がんばって" is the most popular word to cheer up. "がんばってください" is more polite than "がんばれ！". Elder person use "がんばれ！" for younger. Younger person use "がんばってください" for elder. The same age person have a tendency to use "がんばれ！" than "がんばってください".

"ご成功を祈ります" is more polite and formal word.
"幸運を" or "幸運を祈る" is literal translation of "good luck" but Japanese people don't use this word.

If you're looking for the casual, feminine form of NANGI's suggestion try "がんばって(ね）。" がんばれ is basically gender neutral.

応援しているよ would also be something I use to show a more active, ongoing form of support.

同僚に資料の作成を頼んでいたとします。
出来上がった資料を受け取る時、何と言うべきでしょ うか？
一般的には「ありがとうございます」で良いでしょう 。
けれど、同僚が資料を作ることに費やした時間も考慮 するなら「ありがとうございました」と言って受け取っ ても、おかしくはないんですよね。
