Sorry, I just usually ask my boyfriend or someone for their insights on a practical level and anyway couldn't find an online entry at goo or Yahoo. But for now looking at the definition as given in WWWJDIC and breaking it into two general halves I do understand that the meanings of (1) are basically interchangable with ということ and (2, 3) are not, ever.

In any case, it's almost always true that an idiomatic English translation like Niedy's sentence loses whatever nuanced distinction may have been in the original form...

What is the difference between number 1 and 2? The only difference is one particle. I am aware that number 2 means, "let me fight". Other examples are 「俺にやらせる」etc.

But what is 「俺を戦わせる」？

Yes, you're right ! 真っ赤 is more a deep or "pure" glowing hue of red -- close to crimson and sometimes used to describe a blushing or flushing tint, especially out of anger.

Actually both are valid and grammatically correct.
There's not much difference in meaning, but if anything, (a) has more emphasis on Japan while (b) sounds more neutral.
日本が好きな人 : a person who likes Japan (not sure about other countries but Japan for sure)
for instance.

Yes, of course you can say "Because I didn't (past tense) finish studying, I didn't (past tense) go to the test." It's the same basic pattern in Japanese....

No, both are past. Otherwise you're saying something very strange like "Because I won't/don't finish the book, I didn't go."

what I found:

仕事をおわってから -> wrong particle
帰る かえる -> wrong kanji
スーパーに/へいきました -> wrong particle
赤いワインを一本買たいでした。/一本の赤いワインを買いたいでした。
スーパーの赤いワインがすきじゃないから、買いませんでした。 -> past tense and polite (you use polite speech in the rest so I adapted it )
家にかえって -> wrong particle
午後6時15ふん前に外に出ました。--> できる = be able to do / 出る (deru) = leave
ワインが買ってから、 会社にいきした。 -> ~てから = after (you used it correctly before)
会議がありました -> wrong particle
会議がおわってから、私達は家に帰りました。 or 会議のあと -> again ~てから instead of ~たから, you can also say 後(で/に) for "after"
