Hi, it has been a while, I'm trying to figure out what いつの間に運ばれるのか on the passage below could be refering to, any ideias? The leaves fill up and overflow, sparkling like wriggling living beings... but what about いつの間に運ばれるのか?

雲に蔽はれた見えないところで木の葉が非常な勢で増えてゐる。いつの間に運ばれるのか プラタナスも欅も新しい葉で一杯になり、生きものが蠢めいてゐるやうに盛り上ってこ ぼれるばかりに輝いてゐる。

By the way, i'm trying to translate some poems by Sagawa Chika and have some doubts about my understanding. Her poetry is quite unusual and the images she uses sometimes makes me wonder if I'm interpreting them correctly. For example here:

アスパラガスの茂みが
午後の汚れた太陽の中へ飛びこむ
硝子で切りとられる茎
青い血が窓を流れる
その向ふ側で
ゼンマイのほぐれる音がする。

The last verse:
ゼンマイのほぐれる音がする。

How would you translate ゼンマイ? As a fern or as a spring (as in a clock) unwinding/uncoiling?

Hi, Tori! There is a question I wanted to ask you for some time now. When we read the word 車 on a text from the beginning of the 20th century (around the first two decades), would it be right to translate it as "car" or would it more likely be a "rickshaw"? I didn't know this, but "car" might not be so common at that time. It differs depending on the situation/story, of course.
