I admit I take a lot of pics at supermarkets, too. Now, apart from the individual right to privacy (employees, customers), I always wondered whether capturing products is legal or not.

That question aside, if you can teach a sweet potato or head of cabbage to sign a model release form I'm pretty sure there would be good money to be made... ;P

Looking at the portions, I wondered if you went to Yoshinoya afterwards. The menu, however, looks plentiful.

Are those golden plates a Kanazawa thing?

Not sure about the plates, I didn't really notice. The tray that all the dishes were served on was certainly gold colored, but in looking, only one of the dishes seems gold. There are a couple flakes of gold leaf on the leaves in the first pic.

Here's something from my a.m. ride. This little fellow (tanuki pup) crossed right in front of my front wheel, looking lost, scared and lonely. No mom in sight. He eventually escaped into a neighbour's garden.
