Your favourite song by your favourite group

I am interested what is your first favourite japanese song by a band or a group, no matter about the genre, because, japanese songs alway give me particular intimate feelings, so I wonder if I am alone to feel this way.

My fall time favourite song is "Lies and Truth" by Laruku, the reason is that it sounds gracious and sensibly touching, and Hydes voice is a big plus, angelic and lullingly mind moving. All the time when I am listening to it, I feel all my various feeling sadness, and happiness and worry, molten into a smooth flow of peaceful feelings.

So if you have a special song for you, what is it and why?

I love the song "Mirai Yosouzu II" from Dreams Come true. I played that song before I got married and I listened to it a lot when I was on distance with my wife last year.

I also like "My way" from Def Tech.

X Japan - Dahlia

It's 8 minutes of world class speed metal, great vocals and even beautiful piano parts. This song has everything.

my favourite group is gazette and almost each of their songs means something special for me, but if I really had to chose one I would say Cassis. That song helped me a lot when I was depressed and it was the first song that made me cry just by hearing the music without knowing the text. I still can't listen to it without crying at least a little bit. So it's something special to me^^

Yeah X-Japan is probably one of the best Japanese bands, besides Hide's story reminds me of Kurt's (Nirvana) and that makes it even more interesting. My favorite song would be Endless Rain, which was also the first song I heard from them. The video is just amazing, you should check it out if you haven't already.

Hmm it's hard to choose... my favourite band is Vidoll and i love almost all their songs... If i had to choose, it would be Remind Story cos it's my first song and it brings bak a lot of memories X)

Same for me! gazette my favourite band, Cassis my favourite song, actually Cassis was my ringtone when I heard my grandma passed away so thats why it's special to me

One of my favourite band is the TRAX.. They sing in korean and in japanese. I find there best song 'Over the rainbow' (which is korean) I love the piano version of this song. Its the most beautiful song i ever heard.


an other fovorite song of mine is Roaring in the dark by Lynch. It give me allot of energy when i listen to it.

Hi recently i returned to music from xj generation, its music still did not age in my mind yet, feels like music around 2000s, though i can not compare Xjapan with my current numba wan LARUKU! Go Me NA Sai!

" Dahlia" is a strong beated song, but its melody somehow lacks variety, probably typical of old gen jrock from early 90s, but it is still a excellent song of intense feelings. I remember Hide as the though about xj comes to mind, He is my second fav, followed by Glay, he created a extremely wonderful musical style of his own, which is the most sophicticated japanese music ever heard !!! my favorite song of him is MISERY, a twisted, unqiue piece of abstract feelings.

Usually I don't have favorites...but I guess if I had to choose it would be Taiyou no Ao by Dir en grey. Even with painful lyrics the song has gotten me through many tough times and is inspirational to me.

Well, my favourite band is Dir en grey, but I love all of their songs...Anyway, I'm gonna choose "Tsumi to batsu", it iesn't their greatest song, neither do I like it VERY much but I choose it because it was the first song that got me into the band XD

eh.. really very difficult to choose. even hide is my favorite artist, but well there's two songs that i just can't decide which one i like more - BREEDING or Doubt (MIXED LEMONed JELLY MIX). i can't explain but BREEDING sounds so perfectly for me, and Doubt.. i ljust ove when hide says "usotsuki" with his sexy voice~~ but at the same time there are many other songs which i really like and enjoy listenning.
