武運長久 (continuing good luck in battle) written right-to-left but the photo is mirror-imaged or the wrong side of the headband was photographed.

SCMChris and Thomas, thank you. My error in assuming the way it was folded when delivered -- backside out, as you have demonstrated -- was the correct way. No wonder Google couldn't translate it.
