Wow - Something Great Happened To Me Today !!!!

Nice to have a "great" day for a change !
I got to spend the day with another JREF member today. Dreamer from France is here in the US and he took the time to ride a bus for 2 hours one way to visit me here in Maine. Maine is dead in the winter , but we toured the local tourist spots and hung out at the mall and went to lunch togeather. It really is wonderful to meet another JREF member face to face after knowing him just over the internet. In almost 4 years , I have managed to meet just 2 members so far, only a few thousand more that I want to meet in the future. I just dropped him off at the bus station an hour ago and I miss his company already, GREAT GUY!! Just be for he left he even gave me a belated birthday gift, soooo thoughtful. Hope I live long enough to meet more great JREF members down the road.

This happened to me today and last night.
I went to a friend's birthday dinner and had a great time! Ate some good mexican food, drank some good drink (hic), and laughed all night.
Today I went to another party (last minute thing that i almost missed) and had tons of fun!
Uncle Frank glad you had a great time! If i am ever in Maine I'll look ya up!

I've only met 2 people off JRef, too - Mycernius and someone else who doesn't post here any more.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer person!
Went to Paris for the weekend ate great food walked through the streets of a beautiful city, saw sooo many goodlooking girls^^ and two even bought a portrait of moi.^^
Had a great time and will definetly go back because I have absolutly fallen in love with the city of light and love.

OH MAN !!! OH ME OH MY OH BOY OH GIRL !! What great news there, in so many ways folks!!! Frank, I do know just how you feel...and I am also SO very happy for you !! I had had such a great time with Mikawa Ossan last year up here in Shinano, that I realized that I just had to do it again, and invite as many folks from JREF as possible !! I really wish you could come here in May...but WILL make sure we have a couple of cameras around, and hopefully one video as well.
Kinsao !! I am SO VERY happy for you !! Oh don't you know it makes the world go 'round !! That crazy little thing called 'love'!! I wish you two could come in May too!! (but we will think of all of you, both you and your new love, and Frank, and all those who can't make it...)
Mexican food is one of my favorites !! That sounds so good Justin. I'm planning on cooking some good Chili Con Carne Rojo for the JREF MEET from scratch using Pabalno and New Mexico chili pods, making my own special roux, and all the workings.
I could probably fall in love in Paris too, moffeltoff san !! Nice !

A small joy for me. After getting three inches of snow overnight, I decided to drive to work the next day, although I ran the risk of not being able to find a parking space on the block when I returned home, but, much to my surprise, after a somewhat difficult bout of driving, what with mounds of shoveled snow on the streets and traffic aplenty, I did find a space on my block to park. YAY! It's the little things in life that mean the most!

This happend on Thursday , but I finished my final project for my pastry class!
I made a chcolate genosie cake with strawberry bavarian cream filling, coco fudge icing, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries. I wanted to finish it in one day, but everyone seemed to need my help for one reason or another. So it took longer, but aside from morons, jerks, and bossy staff I finished!
Baking isn't my forte so it's not my best work, but I hope you like it. The symbol on top is JK for my mark so people know who made it.
After this only two classes left!

I'm not sure if I'm cut out for the Food Network. Since I try to check my ego at the door before I start cooking. Although, if there is ever a Jref BBQ count on me to help with the cooking!

well. a lot has happened to me.
my boyfriend got me really great seats to a gwen stefani concert in NC!! yess. he's amazing. h got me a phone for chiristmas and now this! is so amazing. i love him.so maybe i'm not so much grateful for the concert tickets (but it's effin amazing) as i amt that i have a great guy that will do anything for me. ahh well they are both so amazing i can't belive either happend...soryr love is great =]
