Well, if you give me a disposable camera and I can make anyone look ugly, even the gussied up ladies posted above :-) There is a reason pros spend thousands of dollars on a camera and enlist the help of fashion, hair, makeup, and lighting artists. :-)

Wow, that's amazing. :D I'm sure movie stars are like that too.

yes, many movie stars are like that

thats why I much prefer girls who are pretty even when they are not wearing make ups.

for sure DT, i like to wake up next to the same girl i feel asleep next to.

as for the original post, i think the grooms friends get them good and drunk no matter what country they are from. as for the women getting made over for the pic, well their wedding day is meant to be the most special day of their lives, they spend 1000+ dollars on a dress they wear only once, its fitting they look their most beautiful on that day, in that dress. though i much prefer the girl make the dress, not the dress make the girl.

wow thats really incredilbe !!! They whats ya call looking great for ya wedding day

Umm...those are some pretty major transformations. Hope the grooms weren't too disappointed the day after the wedding, when the the makeup came off...yikes...

I heard J-girl make a picture of themselve with All the make-up n stuff to give to their boyfriend...(I mean a BIG postersize picture) is this true??Anybody heard bout this too ?

Some of the pictures don't even look like they are by same person...

I don't know if girls in Japan give their postersize picture to their boyfriend, it seems very likely, though.

If I want to give my picture that way, I would use a playmate's body w/ my face attached! :p

Japanese girls are champion in using make-up ! I know several girls that look quite beautiful and sexy anytime you meet them, but once you see them without makeup (if you have the chance of meeting them when they've just got up, or before they go to bed), they are completely different persons. Add to this the popularity of cosmetic surgery (all J-stars have been re-made, even if they looked already good before) and it is no wonder why walking in the streets of Ginza or Shibuya there seem to be so many prety girls - but at closer inspection, they are as rare as anywhere else.

My husband's sister works for Kanebo, and every photo I've seen of her, she looks really beautiful. My husband told me to not be fooled, though, because years of heavy cosmetic use has really wreaked havoc on her skin. That goes for just about anybody, though.

I wear cosmetics only when I go out somewhere(other than the grocery store, that is). I try to let my skin 'breathe' as much as possible. I have shown my before and after pics to a few forum goers(luckily they didn't get too frightened), after they showed me that scary picture of Britney Spears without makeup! Talk about a difference! ☝ I believe Britney without her makeup is worse than those photos above.

That is really good for your skin. Make-up makes your skin look darker and thick when you don't wear one.
You should stop wearing it all at once, and put sunscreen instead. That's what I do.

Without make-up, I don't want to breathe!

I like make-up so much that oftentimes I don't take it off even what I am sleeping.

Actually I don't think Japanese girls look pretty because of heavy make-up. I think it's the way they act. Many of the Japanese girls I have known have a lot of charms! And charms last longer than looks.

However, many of my Chinese and some of my Japanese girl-friends are too lazy to wear any make-up after they got married. (Most Korean women are always into heavy make-up).

Not only they don't like to go out as much as before, when they do they are complaining about these are too expensive or those are too expensive. It's like they are trying to save every dime of their husbands' "hard-earned" money. Worse, they are complaining the way I drive when I'm dropping them off at places. And most of these oriental women are too scared to drive on the highway despite the fact that they own a driver's license. And they are complaining how I drive!

When I confront them with their laziness and bitchiness, they proclaim as a matter of factly, "We are already married now. We don't need to fake!"

ARGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

LOL@ you Jean-Francois :D

You always make me laugh! 👍

I love to dress up and put on makeup, but while I'm at home, I just let it breathe...like....well, nevermind... :p

A good skin tip;

Never wash your face with bar soap. And refrain from using most other forms of cleansing products on your face, altogether.

Instead, use reasonable amounts of water when cleansing the face, and remember to maintain a stable, and healthy diet, to keep the skin at the utmost natural beauty.

Boy Did This Dredge Up Old Memories!!

Most of us military guys met our first Japanese girls in a little bar town just outside the base. We would buy them drinks and try to learn a little Japanese. Being away from home and lonely, it was easy to fall for them. I decided I liked Hiroko and poured on the charm, and drinks! The bar lights were low and a few drinks made her look soooo beautiful! I hustled hard and after 3 weeks I got her to take me home with her; man so excited!! We got to her place and she turned on the lights, a little surprised how she looked. She removed her make-up, and I thought I was with my grandma after she'd been in a car wreck. Then she gobled down a meal that smelled like dead fish and looked worse. Then she grabbed me and planted a big, long lasting French kiss on me! Love affair over, call a taxi, save me! I never went near a bar girl again for the rest of my 2 year tour.
