Hello there,
Why is it important in both the criminal justice system and the government that the power of law is divided among three different bodies of people? Do you think it is effective and efficient to spread the decision-making and participants among so many people?

Yes. But we all know this is not the case.. power is firmly centered around corporations in this day and age. It's not a matter of whether the current set up works in theory, it's a question of whether it's working period, and if it is, who's it working for?

It is not a matter of being efficient.

It is a matter of being a protection against power abuse, which is essential in a democracy.

Works in periods..
