illegal immigrants as nurses like landscaping hires illegals as workers...wouldnt it be cheaper...and that would lower medical costs since you wont have to pay illegals as much as you do american nurses

Aside from being ILLEGAL and causing all types of problems for businesses and organizations that operate aboveboard, hiring illegal immigrants just so you can save on payroll hardly constitutes a smart business practice for a number of reasons. And any of those savings in payroll (which wouldn't amount to much anyways) would not be passed onto the patients.

I don't have a problem with hiring illegals and them turning around and using that to gain work visas...but...fair payment is a MUST, and minimum salaries should be set in order to be able to gain a work visa in this way. We don't need people making less than can support all the family they will bring over.

Its just a little hard to decide what fair payment is. Whatever it is, its NOT the least amount an employee will take because they are so over a barrel financially they have no choice.

IMHO, max salaries and stock profits should always be capped and excess funds distributed to workers in amounts also capped and if there is still excess, it goes to welfare, charities and such.

Better bet would be to have a healthcare system that has it's primary focus as oh I don't know, providing healthcare and you know, caring for the sick, disabled and injured.

If the primary goal of a healthcare provider is not "how can we make as much profit as possible" - then there should be no need to hire illegals.
