well i want to know who in this forum likes soccer, which team do you like, and who is your favorite player?

My team is Cruz Azul (mexico), Boca Juniors (argentina), Ac Milan (italy)

actual players: Deco(barcelona/portugal), Zidane(real madrid/france), Shevchenko(milan/ukraine), Tevez(Boca Junios/Argenina), Redondo(Milan/Argentina), Pirlo(Milan/Italy).

old players: Maradona(argentina), Pele (brasil), Hugo Sanchez (mexico), Jorge campos (mexico).

well, I will bite. I like soccer, ever since i started playing in Cuba. Favorite player is Beckham! But of course you guys know that!!

I played when I was little, and now I don't watch football /soccer that often...I don't support any favourite teams, but watch when the national team is playing...of international players, I also like Beckham!! But the Danish player Jon Dahl Tomasson is my fave (AC Milan).

HEAR HEAR!! We both agree that Jon dahl is COOL! There are many great players in AC Milan, true, and also former AC Milan players.... When I think about it, I think the former Danish footballer Brian Laudrup played in AC Milan too (and Fiorentina). Am I wrong?

I really loved the Laudrup brothers, they were both very good players...

Of British teams, I like Manchester United and Sheffield teams Sheffield United ...YEAH!!

I don't have anything against Sheffield wednesday either...

I have a friend who is obsessed with birmingham city, and everytime one mentions Aston villa, he gets mad!!

Jan Molby! Yeah! He was a great player! He manages a lower league team now...I think it's Kidderminster, but I'm not sure... :? There was also the goalkeeper Jorgen Nielsen, but he didn't play much. We seem to buy a lot of Scandanvian players at Liverpool, particularly from Norway.

Yeah, I'm from Liverpool but moved to Southort (little seaside town just north of L'pool) a couple of years ago. Brookside! That was so good in the mid 90s! But then it went a bit rubbish. It was the best soap though! It had some great storylines!

I remember I watched some episodes of it when I lived in Yorkshire, (along with other British soaps).
My flat-mates were addicted on: Eastenders, Coronation street etc.... One of my flat-mates was from Liverpool and she saw Brookside... That is why I asked...

The soaps are a British thing, as we don't have them in denmark....

Boo! I don't like Eastenders - it's so depressing and miserable and Coronation Street just sucks! I'm not a soap fan really, but I did enjoy Brookside when I was little.

But to go back on topic (sorry!), c'mon Liverpool tomorrow. We play Charlton tomorrow night. And it's on tv! Wooo!

Oh, and AC Milan are better than Real Madrid...Madrid are past it! Zidane and Figo are too old and Beckham is overrated!

I cannot stand the game. Most of them are bunch of overpaid prima donnas. I find there are much better sports to play and watch. Rugby, for one, you can get to hurt your opponent. Or even better Australian Football. Absolutely mental game. Good fun to watch

I'd rather be flayed than watch a game of football. I dislike the game that much
