Not to be an elitist jerk (although I am), but myspace has got to be one of the most offensive places on the internet. No other social networking site violates as many rules of good taste.

Even if you are an elitist jerk, you are correct. I am currently building the page and in the process of tinkering with fonts and colors to make it readable. If I have to chuck the background if nothing else works, then I will.

Ahh, MySpace. Let's hear it for tremendously overworked web servers bogged down with superfluous image data!

I hate when sites try to predict the language you want to see. One day MySpace found out that I have a Japanese IP so now my whole interface is in Japanese. Often www.google.com will come up in Japanese and if I ignore it and just type in a search query, it returns only Japanese results. If I want to use Google in English, I have to click an extra link at the bottom. There's already a Japanese Google! It's called WWW.GOOGLE.CO.JP!!!

I get the same thing now with blogspot, which decided to give me a Japanese interface when I cleared my cookies last month. It's still usable, just obnoxious, especially since I haven't found in the settings an option to change the interface language. (blogspot/blogger is run by google, go figure).

Sorry for the off-topicness, just glad to find someone who suffers as I do

You can go to a link on the top of the page, hit internation myspace and go to the language you want.
