White skin in Japan

I'm happy that we are all different and I love my skin color. It's pale in the winter and a bit darker in the summer. I don't sit on a beach to suntan but do a lot of outdoor activities and like MadamePapillon, prefer this to living under umbrellas and hiding indoors. I have a bit of envy for those who have natural dark skin and don't seem to burn easily as I do. Personally, I like darker skin colors.

My girlfriend is also a slave to the skin whitening. It's crazy the lengths she goes to to avoid the sun and yes she uses the skin whitening cream.
She is very jealous of my pale skin even though in England it was not considered particularly attractive.
I think she looks pretty white anyway but when we put our arms together she does look more tanned.

I honestly prefer the girls with a nice tan.. not gyaruo or anything but, it's sometimes hard to find lol ^^
