Garlic Boys is one of the best Old School Hard Core bands from Japan. Lately, their music has become a bit more mellow, but it's still good. I love 'em to death.I'm listening "No use for a name" a punk band of USA, about that, somebody knows about a japanese punk band? i like to hear it

That's about the most mainstream "punk" band I know..

Or what about 窶佚･ﾋ彗 (yamato)? I sang a few of their songs at a karaoke, so I think it's pretty famous. Nothing like No Use though, it's more like punkrock with some typically Japanese melodies (very dynamic) and some songs have a Shamisen (ﾅｽO窶督｡ﾂ静ｼﾂ） too. Pretty good too.
Oh, and now I come to think of it, what about Lolita nr. 18? They toured with the Toy Dolls a couple of times. Their music is.. Just as crazy I guess, but then with 4 girls.
