I have some Japanese electronic bits and pieces, and some Japanese CDs. My acoustic guitar is a Yamaha but it wasn't actually made in Japan. The same is probably true of my Yamaha keyboard.
Oh, and I have a bag, a reading light, a paper fish, a poster, socks, and some eyeshadows, from Japan, that my friend send me over in various Christmas presents.
- Most of my clothes (bought them in Japan)
- My PC (ditto)
- Japanese food (a lot of it, although most bought in Belgium)
- Japanese cooking/eating utensils (chopsticks, sesame crusher...)
- manga...
The only thing I have that came directly from Japan is the Christmas card that Mars Man sent me
I have a couple of Billy Joel singles on tiny CDs that a friend gave me (I don't know how he got them). It is fun to read the katakana on them
I have a few things made in Japan but bought here - consoles and video games mainly. I have DVDs of Ring, Advent Children, FF Spirits Within, Monkey and a few Takeshi Kitano films. I also have a Japanese coffee set (made for the export market) that my parents gave me as a housewarming gift. It is pale green lustre with dragons painted in a thick embossed paint. When you hold the cups up to the light you can see a geisha in the bottom. I should take a picture - it is really pretty, and one of my favourite possessions.
I have other 'Japanese' stuff like prints of ukiyo-e, a bamboo hanging and a painting of koi carp. I have a few books about Zen and haiku, Shusako Endo's novel Silence (good book!) and The Tale of Genji (which I haven't read yet )
