Japanese New Year's Eve is all about one thing: SOBA.

These Japanese traditional noodles are made of buckwheat and usually eaten on this special night.

SOBA is the tradition but if you donĀ“t like SOBA or if you have allergy with soba, then I think itĀ“s OK to eat udon instead

We had curry udon but the thinner type of udon, similar to soba. (My wife doesn't like soba.) Anyway hopefully the long noodles will give us long life. :)
